Annual Golf Tournament June 26th/2008
Caledonia's annual Golf tournament is a event not to be missed if your a Golfer or not. It is held in June every year around the middle of the month. (This year it will be held on June 26th, 2007) Tee-Off starts at 10:30am. This has always been a very popular event and has grown in member and non member attendance over the last few years. We would love you to join us on this day. If you would like to pre-register on-line send a email to Bob Steenson with the following information contained in the body of the email., names of persons who will be participating, a contact phone number, best time to confirm registration and a fax number (if available) also what lodge. Suggest getting your tickets/confirmation early as they will be hard to get closer to tournament date. The cost of the tournament includes 18 holes of Golf, shared Golf Cart, Steak Dinner and a prize for all attendees as well as trophies for different Golf skill events.
This year as in the past few years it is being held at the Bushwood Golf and Country Club, in Markham
Tickets are $100 each, which includes 18 holes of golf, shared cart and a fine steak dinner.
Every golfer will receive a prize and there will be the usual games, like:
§ the now famous (or is it IN-famous) Team Coloured Ball Contest, sure to test the Masonic principles of gamesmanship to the core.
§ the 50/50 putting contest, and
§ the first person to score a hole in one on the 17th hole Par 3, will win the use of a Mid Size Car, of their choice, for a whole year (Insurance and Maintenance not included).
The tournament is limited to 72 golfers, so book your foursome early, as not to be disappointed.
Ladies and non masons are welcome. All proceeds will go to the District Charity.
